In addition to a number of articles regarding the nature, foundation, and appeal of equality, I am currently working on a book tentatively entitled Rethinking the Good, Moral Ideals and the Nature of Practical
Reasoning. This book spans a broad array of topics, including principles and problems of aggregation, transitivity, continuity,
independence conditions, person-affecting principles, impersonal values, intrinsic versus essentially comparative conceptions of moral ideals, and the role moral ideals play in our all things considered judgments.
Together, the book's topics raise a host of deep and complex issues that have far-reaching practical and theoretical implications.
Ultimately, the book may challenge the very intelligibility of ranking outcomes in many cases. Minimally, it challenges us to rethink standard assumptions about the good, moral ideals, and the nature of practical
reasoning.
