DIRECTIONS TO THE PHILOSOPHY DEPARTMENT

1 SEMINARY PLACE, NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ

From points South:

NJ Turnpike North to Exit 9.  Pay your toll and bear right.  Follow the signs to Route 18 North toward New Brunswick.  At the top of the ramp, merge into the second lane from the left.  Go up the hill and stay in the middle lane and proceed North in either the express lanes or the local lanes.  If you take the local lanes, go past the ramp for Route 27/Albany Street.  Take the next exit for Rutgers University/George Street & College Avenue Campus.  (same exit for express lanes) Stay in the left lane as you approach the light.  At the light, turn left onto George Street and make the first right onto Seminary Place.  The entrance to the parking lot is on your right immediately following your turn.  Although the sign reads Theological Seminary, it’s us.  Bear right into the lower lot next to Seminary 1 and park here.  You can either walk up the back steps or the front drive to Seminary 3.  (2^nd Victorian house on the hill)

Route 1 North.  Follow route 1 north past the Ryders Lane exits.  Go under the next overpass and take the ramp on your right for Route 18 North into New Brunswick.  Follow the directions above.

From points North:

Take the NJ Turnpike south to Exit 9.  Follow the directions above.

Take the GS Parkway to the NJ Turnpike to Exit 9.  Follow the directions above.

Take Route 1 south and exit at Route 18 North, New Brunswick (first exit after you go over the bridge). Follow the ramp up the hill and move into the middle lane.  See remaining directions above.

From Route 287 South:

Take the exit for Easton Avenue.  Follow Easton Avenue several miles until you pass St. Peter’s Hospital.  Keep going on Easton Avenue until you reach Hamilton Street.  Turn left on Hamilton and proceed across College Avenue.  At the next light (George Street), turn left.  The Zimmerli Museum will be on your left.  Proceed up George Street to the first left hand turn (Seminary Place).  Turn left onto Seminary and make the first right into the entrance to our parking lot (large sign reads Theological Seminary).  Bear right and park in the lower lot next to Seminary 1.  You can either walk up the back steps or the front drive to Seminary 3.  (2^nd Victorian house on the hill)
