• Semester Offered: Fall 2025
  • Instructor: Kamm, Frances
  • Description:

This is a seminar in philosophy of law and topics in moral and political philosophy that intersect with the law. The format of the course will consist in engaging with the work of seven scholars who will be visiting the seminar. In the week preceding each philosopher’s visit, we will read work (whether by them or someone else) they have selected to prepare for their visit, and then the following week we will read whatever paper they will be presenting in our class. The topics will be diverse, ranging over an array of topics in philosophy of law writ large.
